Poem on war:

War is a place where our soldiers go, they help protect us and keep us and our families safe at our home,

We thank them for their bravery,

And all their sacrifices for our needs.

Fore all the times that they are scared, they just want us to hold in their hands.

We wish them luck on their journey everyday, and pray for their safty whilst on their way.

Dear Diary,



Today, we suffered another day hiding in the addic at home, the sound of gun and bomb droppings are getting louder and more frequent.


I am so terrified that soon they will be getting so close to our home and my family and friends will be at greter risk. I dont even understand what all the fighting is about, it is all out of controll, and just hurting innocent people who have done absolutley nothing wrong.

I dont sleep well anymore because i am always so scared that the morning will never come. I pray for the day that will come, and the war will stop and i can be free to escape from here, see the light, and run free, play with my friends, and just breath the fresh air.

3. Knowing about universal themes, write a paragraph addressing the following: Is Shakespeare's play Much Ado About Nothing relevant for a modern audience? Explain your answer with reference to the play's content and characters.

I think in some ways the Shakespeare play is relevant to a modern audience, yet in someways is very different. They language they use is very different from the language we use in today's society, as well as they way that they dressed in the Elizabethan times. Some of the things that happen in the play 'much ado about nothing' are relevant, as the relationships between characters in the play can be related back to people in modern society's own life and their relationships, whether it be with a mother/father (like Hero and Leonarto). Love relationships, (Beatrice and Bendick & Hero and Claudio). These relation ships can be related to modern life.

Homework week 1 ~ Book review.

Specky Magee is a student at Booyong high and he is the star forward for his football club. Specky is 14 years of age and his real name is Simon Magee but all of his friends call him Specky.

Specky has a good reputation for his spectacular marking ability and for kicking plenty of goals during the game. Specky is very popular and has many friends, some of their names are Danny, Robbo, Johnny, Smashing Sols, Gobba, Tiger Girl, Christina, and Screamer.

All of Specky’s friend’s play footy with him. Specky is a good sport on and of the field. Specky has a sister called Alice, who is always giving him a hard time and getting into trouble.In Specky Magee, and the boots of glory, he has to make a decision that will change his life, accepting a scholarship to a new school, or stay at Booyong High, with his mates, and much loved team. Specky finds himself getting himself into a lot of trouble, as he accepts the scholarship, and makes new friends at Gosmore Grammar. And to top this all off, he has to play one of the biggest football games of his life.
